This course strives to improve Learners’ understanding of stress and its effects. They will study and practice stress management techniques, preventative measures, and ways to minimize stress aftereffects.
The Stress Management course’s first and foremost mission is to normalize the presence of stress as an unavoidable part of everyone’s life. Once this is established, the Learners will learn to identify, assess, and dissect stressors and contributing factors. As stress relies on organizational and emotional factors, Learners will observe it through multiple perspectives to better understand it and prepare for future occurrences.
In a team setting, Learners will learn and practice techniques to optimize their experience in real-life situations when dealing with stress. Team activities are centered around acceptance and effective progression towards reduction of stress-related side effects as well as practicing preventative measures in improvised situations with newly-learned techniques.
